2. BRC (British British Retail Consorcium Technical Standard) and IFS (International Food standard)
Both BRC and IFS are the systems of food safety management complying with the international standards for private retailers’ audits. The systems concern the requirements for food hygiene and safety for the companies processing foodtuffs. Inspections are carried out by independent certification bodies accredited for this purpose. Certificates are valid worldwide and they provide greater quality assurance of both products and brands.
3. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
NOVOFRUKT SK s.r.o. has successfully implemented HACCP system. It is a set of rules concerning critical points control as a preventive measure eliminating physical, chemical and biological hazards from the whole food processing line. It assures the safety of processing mechanisms, storage, handling, transport and sale of the product to the final customer. Manufacturing premises are checked for good manufacturing practices and appropriate hygienic level.
4. NATURALIS
This certification system complies with the applicable legislation and with the Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products. It concerns BIO products.
5. DEMETER
DEMETER certification is granted to products manufactured by way of biodynamic agriculture. Biodynamic agriculture is based on organic farming which enhances land fertility by using natural agents comparable to homeopatics. Positive effects of these biodynamic agents on soil and plants have been scientifically proven. DEMETER products are a flagship on organic food market.
6. KOSHER
KOSHER is a certification for the Jewish markets. It certifies that baby foods have been produced in compliance with Jewish requirements for food manufacturing. KOSHER baby food manufacturing process is supervised by Rabbis at all stages. All the process instruments and containers must be approved by a Rabbinate.
7. HALAL
Certification for Islamic markets for the baby food admissible under Islamic law. All the instruments and containers used in the production process must be certified specifically for HALAL production.
8. SK 625 ES
NOVOFRUKT SK s.r.o. has been granted a veterinary number SK 625 ES by the State Veterinary and Food Administration of the Slovak Republic, entitling the company to export its products to EU (especially concerning OVKO meat and vegetable combinations).
9. Brand of Quality
NOVOFRUCT SK s.r.o. has participated in Slovak-wide project “Brand of Quality”. The project under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was designed to support Slovak production and homemade products of high quality. Our company has been granted this brand for eight kinds of meat and vegetable combinations. “Brand of quality” logo is displayed on each of these products, informing the consumers that the product is safe, of high quality and made in Slovakia.
10. Golden Sickle 2002
A prestigious award Golden Sickle was granted to NOVOFRUCT SK s.r.o. at the International Agricultural and Food Fair Agrokomplex in Nitra in 2002.
